On this day I delivered my practice presentation in preparation for the EPQ presentation evening on the 3rd of December. I chose to use Prezi because I felt it would be a bit more engaging, and different from an ordinary Power Point and I did get positive feedback from my audience of fellow students and teacher on this. They did make some suggestions of improvements though, they said to make sure that all my charts were clear - they suggested zooming in on them - and as they clapped before it was over doing something to prevent this because it interrupted my flow and can be annoying for the audience. Furthermore, although I made notes for my presentation I realised that I didn't need them and turning them over and finding the right bit was just a mistake - I knew what I was saying - so next time I don't think I will use notes because I know my project so well.
I have therefore decided to make the following changes:

I have therefore decided to make the following changes:
- Zooming in on the charts so that when I explain the findings of my questionnaire the audience can see and understand what I am talking about
- Making it clear what my presentation will be like from the start i.e. I will be talking about my research and findings then discussing my project with you - a statement to stop early clapping
- Don't use notes - have them on the table just in case my mind goes blank but otherwise speak from memory
However, I am pleased with the improvements that I have appeared to have made in my presenting:
- I kept my hands out of my pockets
- I project my voice louder
- I speak with more confidence
- I make eye contact with the audience
